A field of carnivorous plants has been discovered in a remote corner of northwestern australia. Few plants are as vulnerable as carnivorous ones, which scrape, living on impoverished soils by supplementing their rooty diets with proteins from the corpses of trapped insects. Many of these species we found at this particular field are actually undescribed, which means no one has ever named them.
