The Lord's True Dwelling Place Is Not Only in the Highest Heavens, but in the Lowest Place
The lord's true dwelling place is not only in the highest heavens, but the humble and contrite believer. The people were proud and stubbornly delighted in their infidelity to the lord. Consequently, the lord marked them out for harsh judgment. However, despite the wicked people's confidence, it is they who will be put to shame by the lord.
