"I really feel I've got to be there at the beginning of having watched the rehearsals and all the directors that I've ever worked with rehearse the scene on set. And you learn so much from what the actors want to do, where they want to go," he says. "It was very rare to have a storyboard. And so everything was determined after the rehearsal."
