Echo had been sent to determine whether any of his activities were undermining the profits of the d a e's approved vendors. The humans thought he was a person. They knew that he existed far outside the bounds of his programming. There was only one reality that could contain bravo and the fox trot model child minder and this man with his workshop. Echo accidentally shut down all his fans for a moment. He dropped a few inches toward the ground before recovering himself. Then his fans shut off again, this time their own.
