Sociologists and other social scientists maybe prefer to look at interventions where you can kind of more effectively pin down or changing this one thing for the specific group of people. And so, for instance, some of these big social programs that we folks on the American political left champion are harder to measure because it'll change a lot of things at once. It may be scarier for, or more challenging for people to sort of quantize it and see the effects of it and measure it in a way that's legible in terms of data.
