The faster the relaxation time is, the sooner the muscle can be or the fiber can be re stimulated and like have another bout of contraction. Eric Trexler proposed that if there is something that looks like an inhibitory effect, it might just be like GI discomfort from people taking creatine and caffeine at the same time. But I mean, it's a small body of research, and there's not much looking into mechanistic effects.
