Snake Skins Are a Lucky Symbol

Ben zitin is our lady lucky god. She carries a bewa, a japanese lute and travelled all the way from india through china to reach Japan. Among other things, ben zitin controls treasure, and her messenger is a snake. Snakes shed their skins and get bigger, which they do repeatedly throughout their lives. You'll also sometimes see a wallet made of snake skin or fo leather that is printed to look like snake skin. Just think if you had a yellow wallet with a white snake skin inside. Imagine how rich you'd be.
