How Do You Define Words Within Sentences?

I mean, if the teacher needs a check mark or a number for her grade book, then it's fine to give something simple like a multiple choice definitional test. If the teacher really wants to go deeper, then there are a number of other assessment possibilities that could work one of them. And most of these mirror the activities we do with kids. Almost any activity you do with kids can also be used as an assessment.
