Programmers Are Not Trained in Dealing With Intimidation
Managers are good at manipulating people. They get to the truth by testing your resolve, by testing your emotions. If they can rive you to an emotional confrontation, then they know that this is really the truth. Programmers get to thetruth by doing the technical but we don't want the emotion bothers us. So i learned how it served me well a long time ago. And another aspect of agile or these methodologies - the user story is so hard to estimate because I'm not very good at writing stories.
