Is the Fed's Inflation Test the Exact Piqe in This Cycle?

The Fed has said inflation is transitory, but many in the private sector expected it to retreat far more rapidly than they did. The fed got themselves into a trap where they used the language transitory, and that led people to think prices were going to go back as if nothing had happened. I've consistently said it's very hard to maintain elevated inflation past 20 22. And i would argue that you are already seeing the much more negative effects on a the ability to consume and import oil, gasolene, fertilizer, et cetera, into the emerging markets.
