The Responsibility of Humanity
In that life which is so fragmented, bio-education, bio-nationalism, bio-religious concepts and ideals, dogmas, images, these are the factors that bring about fragmentation in our life. And we listen to all this, perhaps carefully or seriously, with passing interest. Or if you are serious, not merely intellectual or emotional or romantic, but we are profoundly serious. Then the question arises, what is our responsibility to the whole, not only to the particular, to the whole of mankind? As a human being who is essentially basically the rest of mankind, you may not like to believe that. You might not like to feel that you are merely an individual and what have one
