Will the Trump Administration Lower Standards for Clean Cars?

Under the Trump administration, they really rolled back those standards for model years 2021 and 2022. Traditionally, automakers have always unfortunately tended to do the bare minimum required by them by law. So if automakers are targeting those numbers, we're looking at a relatively slow ramp of their production. And that's likely to leave a lot of consumers who want these vehicles waiting longer than they would like to get those vehicles.
