How to End the HIV Epidemic in Europe
In 2019, in countries like South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana, HIV was still the leading cause of death. It's been nearly 30 years since effective treatments were developed. We must optimize the tools we have today and continue innovating to bring forward novel options that work for people's lives. But science alone will not end the epidemic. Through our many global and local partnerships, at Gilead, we strive to advance health equity to reduce disparities. Together we can end the epidemic for everyone, everywhere.
