Introduction
Agricola by two thousand and five uve rosenberg had been creating games for over ten years. Rosenberg says the game dicka cartolin, loen hertz and antiquity served as inspiration for this new agricultural theme. When once asked about why he created a game about humble farmers, rosenberg replied, i'm not interested in wars, power glory. I'm interested in the life of the common man. Its name was determined by a pole of rosenberg's fans. The player starts with two early turns, collecting clay or stone, building fences, raising animals and so on. Each player may choose to have more children than they would normally be able to do.
