The Consequences of Sidu's Endless Runaway Problem
California's Department of Social Services saw the endless allegations and disappearances, they did nothing to shut them down. 415 juvenile runaway reports were filed just between 1997-2005. The program consistently did not give those to the police. Instead, they drove around the community and then if they didn't find them, asked the kids frantic parents if they'd like to hire a private detective. These private investigators weren't even independent professionals, they were also on Sidu's payroll.
