The idea is that if we're looking first at the simplest theory, it would have maximum explanatory power and maximal conceivable Explanatory Capacity. It seems to me that the simplest account of its degree of power and the degree of value in the scale of axeology is that it'sperfect. And so that gives you the maximof greatness. So im this is, i guess, how my intuitions lie. When i think of valuable earth power being valuable, i'm thinking of the power of an agent. But when we are talking about impersonal things, it doesn't really seem to me that that kind
