The New California Law Targeting Amazon Dot Com Warehouses
A new law will require amazon dot com and other companies to disclose any quotas or work place productivity measures it applies to workers in the state of California. Amazon one is unique among e commerce companies in measuring its humans that work in its warehouses by quotas and productivity. If you don't meet these quotas, then you can be fired automatically. Not even a human is involved in this. Some labor advocates have complained about this creating bad working conditions and increasing injuries. Supposedly, amazon has higher injury rates than the national average.
