There needs to be a lot more exploration into the effects of cold deliberate cold exposure on health. I think that my journey is a good example showing how little funding and how little attention this preventive medicine actually has. It took me two and a half years to get the funding for my PhD. My PhD is actually more than six years long because it took that much time to getting the funding. We did have a lot of discussions about what is actually the reasons why natural stresses like this is not put more forward as a thing that we should put more funding into.
