I think historically elites had some understanding of this that there was an element of hypocrisy. And maybe in their private lives, they would cheat on their spouse or do drugs but still try to uphold the ideal of having a stable marriage and trying to like live a clean and healthy life. Whereas today, somehow hypocrisy has become one of the ultimate transgressions. I don't know that the elites are evil or wrong in this particular case at all. It's just this works for you. And if other people copy you, it's not going to go well for them. Yeah. The thing you don't want to be in a hypocrite is so bad. That shift from like hypocrisy being the worst
