I thought that they did a couple of cute nods to the original, obviously. The way that both like townsfolk and Nevermore students react to Wednesday seems like super overblown and like way kind of out. It's like even when she walks into a room, people basically started like, Oh, it just feels. I don't know. If teenage Frank encountered a Wednesday Adams, he would immediately fall in love.
