Is There a Connection Between the State and Gladio?

In some cases, we see an initial act of terrorism, a furious, sudden accusation of left wing groups. Then later information seems to often reve a connection between the state and these groups. We're going to save that stuff for the end, but we can start at least with the things that have already been proven.
