The Importance of Identity Change

A car has agency and it wants to go faster but it just can't. So you would need to change the very identity of that car. It wouldn't be enough to just put a slightly better fuel in it which would be something like putting in a new behavior. And so you can give that car the option of driving it 300 kilometers an hour or continuing to drive however it was before. But a fundamental identity change is required of that car in order for it to do what it wants to do.
