CNN's John Sutter talks with the author of a new book about honor and how it can be applied to men today. He says being honored is really about caring about your reputation as a man with other men. But, he adds, dishonor means dramatically failing at being what a man means in that group. And so when you are not trying to be manly, if you're flamboyant or dishonest, I don't think that makes you very manly either," writes Sutter.
