Biogas or renewable natural gas is primarily composed of methane captured from dairy farms, sewage or landfills. It can produce up to 40% less CO2 compared to conventional natural gas. Hydrogen itself produces no greenhouse gas emissions when combusted. Green hydrogen production costs are currently at an all-time high due to the high cost of electricity.
