And then when I went to my editor and beta readers, they said, no, you wrote a science fiction novel because you have a cyborg. She's a kind of human, but she has implants that make her kind of connect with machines. But she's a cyborg so it immediately turns into science fiction. "The reality in science fiction are very close to each other nowadays," he says.
