Wilhelm scream was originally recorded in the 19 fifties for a swamp scene. Sound designer for star wars tucked this scream into a scene of luke sky walker shooting a storm trooper off a ledge. Once you know the scream, you'll hear it over and over again in movies. It's kind of like a little sonic treasure embedded just for you. Of course, there's superimposition of a scream for some individuals, but they tend to be not the main stars.
