Sex Education in California's Elementary Schools
Two thousand 16 california health youth act added to the existing state sexed standards. Sex ed in grades k through six must teach about gender, gender expression, gender identity and the harm of negative gender stereotypes. Ten year olds are exposed to those topics unless their parents op them out.
