Building Experimentation Roadmaps

In terms of a roadmap for experimentation, i.e. the experiments themselves, I personally believe that the majority of that should come from rigorous research and analysis. And particularly from pieces of research and analysis that get close to the customer. But it's always worth having just fairly kind of left field ideas thrown in there as well. Because even if those things don't work, you can learn very valuable stuff from them.
