I Wish I Had Black Hair

I grew up looking a lot like the Wendy's girl. With the bowl cut. And I had the pigtails too. That was me doing my thing. But it was a feeling of... I remember a lot of my youth feeling like I don't like the way I look. Wouldn't it be great for some reason I thought black hair is cool? When you're young you're searching to find yourself, to find a model for yourself. In American the time that I was growing up I write about how few models of what a tall, strong, black young girl could be in life.
