The Importance of Ego in Code

I usually only get upset when they change my code into something very stupid that usually upsets me, which you see sometimes. I think ego does come in the way. People associating their work with their self-respect and like, oh, if you critique their work, you're critiquing them even though you're trying to phrase it in the best way possible. Yeah, that's a big hurdle generally for any kind of progress or any kind of improvement in code. So yeah, glad you haven't experienced it, Sasha.
