The Story of the Barbie Boat Cruise
Sydney was the first leg actually of their worldwide publicity tour, which perfectly accompanied their very extensive marketing campaign. So it all started with the initial social media buzz and there were those extremely clear pap shots of Marga Robbie and Ryan Gosling in those fluro outfits rollerblading on the streets. Then the cast posters were released introducing us all to each Barbie in each film like President Barbie, Diplomat Barbie, you name it as well as Just the Kittens. These posters were then turned into templates for people to insert their own faces on for social media out. People also memeified this with celebrity faces and characters like Roman Roy.
