What Does All That Have to Do With Art?

Art can help us to live with nourishment and pleasure in the real world, connect us with it in ways nothing else can. The first phrase we did hear is referring to not knowing where one is going. I think of drift as a concept there as a positive, not a negative. Cage says, i have the feeling that we are getting nowhere. So it's another directionless another lost ness. And then just after that, joan summarizing cage's experiments, experiments in forms of living one's life that are ways of not wanting to be anywhere other than where one is. There's are three versions of something that is very counter to conventional aspiration, even to liberal democracy.
