Doglike Ears in Sea Monsters
Silla has his doglike associations to that of i think it does come through, at least partially, through the sea monster tradition as well. We do have a couple of minoan depictions of what appear to be sea monsters. And they do show similar dog like characteristics, sometimes, with the pointed ears and very canine looking snouts as well. That's really interesting. In terms of the cites evolution in art, by starting, maybe around the hellenistic period, they actually start to begin to grow fore legs as well. Because in the ancient world, dracon ou know, just a serpents a lot of times, no legs, whatever. But that seems to affect that
