The Liberation of Women in the History of Pornography

I don't think I'm not optimistic enough to think that these texts achieved a kind of liberation for women. It's unclear if men took or any readers took the discursive parts seriously, you know. And so it reveals that like sexual possibility is inhibited for women in a culture that says you're only worth something if you're chased. To me that's the, when I say that pornography shows violence, that's the violence I think it shows. That's how powerful that kind of patriarchalism is.
