The Saraswati in the Ramayana Is a Great River

The river Saraswati dried out about 1500 or so BC. Most of it dried out by that time, 1500 BC as 3,500 years before today. The Ramayana was written closer to that time. When the river was in her prime, it was not written closer to 1500 BC. It could have been 300 or 3000 BC when the Mahabharata happened. We don't know quite what the date is. Various people have proposed various dates and they are very strongly adamant that my date is correct. Everybody else is wrong. I am not getting into the controversy."
