The Relatability of Phone Calls Out of Nowhere
People can relate to having very complicated relationships with people who die. The complexity is familiar and relatable, even if the specifics aren't. They showed a process of notification and coming to accept that someone had died. It's intensely important to try to figure out what the person's telling you.
