There's an attachment to process that can become an overattachment, right? Right now, we as a society cannot make major changes at the federal level because the filibuster is just standing in the way of anything like that. And so you have people who want to get rid of the filibuster for good or bad reasons, right? They can have a good or bad outcome in mind but there's also this attachment to process.
