Conservatives, What Are Your Values?

As a young Conservative, what were your values? Did you have a strong sort of traditional family household? What were your aspirations? And how did this link him with his ideology? I was very fortunate. My dad was a corpsman officer in the Army, but he left school without any qualifications. He worked his way up through the ranks; my mum was a supermarket assistant. You cannot build a good civilisation if children aren't brought up properly. For me, the family is absolutely crucial. But who in Britain today is part of an extended family network where there hasn't been some divorce or disruption? Let's try and make the aspiration to build families a really important part of conservatism.
