The Ecology of Behavior

The ecological approach is that if you give an individual a task within an environment and they start to interact through perception, action coupling through coordination, effective movement solutions are effective behavior. So the big change that you're really suggesting is rather than being prescriptive and treating our students like robots where we basically give them instructions to follow, you're kind of suggesting creating an environment where the right behavior just kind of emerges organically,. Right? You put some games in place that are designed to steer people to kind of come up with the right movements on their own. Is that sort of the right way to explain this?
