Seizures - What Are the Major Pitfalls to Avoid?
It's important to remember that a lot of the brain is not eloquent. Auras are very difficult for patients to describe. It's much more common when somebody's admitted and you're not reducing medications. People may be under stress and we want to make sure that we're recording the habitual events. And I've seen circumstances where people have been dismissed as having psychogenic seizures because those have been recorded in video telemetry units.
