What Do You Think of Mentorship?

If you were tasked with re designing our education system for the future, what would you change about it? I think that there should be a huge emphasis on mentorship from an early age. There's like a tacit knowledge that comes with that that is impossible to describe. We learn many things through doing. Mind to i dont mind anything but linear.
