The botulinum toxin has two parts. Part one is a peptide that acts as an, as a shroud to get us into the cell. The other part is an enzyme which breaks down proteins and stops them from sending out chemical signals. So if those proteins get broken down, they can't send chemical signals. That's how botulinium toxin paralyzes you.
