The Tree of Life

The tree is a place where humans meet God because it's in the middle of the garden. The fruit conveys God's life to the human through that proximity and intimacy. And so, yeah, it's about living in connection with God. Now, there's another tree. We're not told that's in themiddle of the garden, but we kind of can assume that it's also there in the mid-garden. SoYeah, two trees. Two trees. But I think it's one that becomes much more clear as you go throughout the story.God doesn't want to keep humans in an infant state. Yes. He wants them to rule.
