The Effects of CBD on Diabetes
CBD has been shown to reduce inflammation in the pancreas and improve eyelets of langer hands. THCV, tetrahydrocannabinar varin, which is of the THC family, actually blocks the CB1 receptor. The theory was that maybe we could use this plant-derived compound as an anti-abesity drug too. We did 12 weeks of treatment, but we only did 100 milligrams twice per day. I still believe there is a potential for CBD and diabetes and weight loss. It's one of the major side effects of CBD drugs.
