The insurers weren't allowed to say anything or ask why are you operating on that person. The incentives were lined up in such a way that the AMA wasn't able to keep making the story they kept going with. That's actually kind of meets up with neo eugenics in a sad way where you have a lot of black women and poor white women being preyed upon.
