ETFs Are Getting Bigger and Bigger Every Year
The Spyder S&P 500 ETF Trust just celebrated its 30th birthday. It was the first exchange-traded fund to be listed on a national stock exchange. Today, there are nearly 9,000ETFs listed around the world compared to only 276 20 years ago. Total assets under management in Indexes at around $10 trillion is catching up with mutual funds where over $22 trillion are managed.
