"I'm an illusion. I live in illusion," he says, "but why should I bother? Why shouldn't I just watch my... envy and be amused by it?" He adds: 'Don't you think that wouldn't you wish if you saw somebody that you loved in a state of illusion?' If someone is consumed with envy then they are not worthy of listening to him or her - but the moment they're willing to listen has already taught them something.
