Christ Giving Gifts After the Ascension

St. Peter describes that in 1 Peter 3, 19 when he says that he went down into fulake prison, the holding place, proclaimed the truth and led those captives. Now that's what Paul's talking about here. When he ascended on high, he led a host of captives. He gave gifts to men in saying he ascended. What does it mean? But that he had also descended to the lower parts of the earth. And his gifts were, and he lists the fivefold ministry of apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, and teachers.
