The Israeli Invasion of the Janine Refugee Camp

Seven Palestinian's were killed, nearly 100 were wounded. Janine is slowly becoming a symbol of Palestinian resistance. It was originally established in 1953 to house Palestinians who were ethnically cleansed during the neck of a of 1948. The camp has seen much unrest over the decades and it was nearly destroyed in 2002 when Israeli soldiers ambushed it.
