There's a real Ashford Castle in Western Ireland and Galway on the border with Mayo. It was built in 1228 initially held by the House of Burke. The motto of House of Burke is familiar to you all or should be their motto: One king, one faith, one law,. And so one king, onefaith, one law, one realm, one king,One God. That's almost certainly where George got that influence.
